Private Pilot

Where You Get Your Dreams Off The Ground

Where Do I Begin?

The Private Pilot Certification Course is where you start whether your dream is to be an airline captain or simply to fly for your own business or pleasure. Some have said that learning to fly is as easy as learning to drive a car. While this may be an oversimplification, it is not far off.

What Do I Need To Get Going?

The enrollment includes being able to read, speak, and understand the English language, passing a simple medical examination, and being 17 years of age on the day you graduate.

What Will It Take To Graduate?

You can expect to spend approximately 40-60 hours flying and about the same in classroom work. You can normally complete this in about three months. Graduation consists of passing a written test with a score of 70% or better, and successfully completing an oral examination and flight test.
